Judith Englesby-Smith
I am the Executive Director of Shasta Head Start and Early Head Start
and academically prepared with an M.A. in Speech and Language Pathology
and an M.A. in Diversified Special Education. Additionally, I have participated
in post-graduate work through UCLA Anderson School of Management/Johnson
and Johnson Institute.
In addition to service to young children and their families, I also
am an adjunct faculty member at Shasta Community College and California
State University Chico.
For years I volunteered in my children’s schools and 4H and
currently serve on a variety of community and state boards and councils.
I am married with two grown daughters and believe that friendships
and laughter are good for the soul and that one is enriched when giving
more than they receive.
