    Opportunity to enhance knowledge about early childhood development and network with collegues and leaders active in the early childhood field. Featured topics include using brain development research in your program, understanding and responding to challenging behavior, helping young children and families cope with trauma, supporting families in the economic downturn, and building reflective practices into your program.

  • NEW! Whiskeytown Story Time for Preschoolers
    Preschoolers, parents/grandparents, and siblings join a Park Ranger and Local Story Teller for nature activities: stories, games, crafts, and sing-alongs.
    Fridays 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. at Whiskeytown Visitor Center (intersection of Highway 299 and J.F. Kennedy Memorial Drive) - free parking for program.

  • September 6 Family Farm Day - Churn Creek Meadows Organic Farm
    Options are brunch or free tasting of heirloom tomatoes and table grapes (after 12 pm).
    Brunch: $12 Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
    Menu: Veggie frittata, grilled pizza, rosemary bread, Asian stir fry, and cucumber & tomato salad.
